Get ready to seize the day! This high-energy dance intensive is designed to help young performers prepare for Newsies auditions and build the skills needed for the show’s exciting choreography. Students will learn beginner-to-intermediate musical theatre dance combinations inspired by the style and movement of Newsies Jr., while focusing on technique, strength, stamina, storytelling, and performance quality.
Dancers will work on audition combinations, jazz fundamentals, turns, jumps, and the athletic movement style that makes Newsies so dynamic and fun. This class is perfect for performers looking to boost confidence, improve dance skills, and feel more prepared for auditions and rehearsals. No advanced dance experience required — just energy, focus, and a willingness to work hard and have fun!
Class Dates: June 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th and 17th
