About I’m a STAR

The “I’m a STAR” program is NPAC’s dance class within our Pulse Dance program for the special needs community.  This one-of-a-kind program allows those with developmental and physical challenges the opportunity to learn the art of dance and SHINE on STAGE in winter and spring Pulse dance recitals!

I’m a STAR is a year round program with a fall/winter and spring semester. In the fall/winter and spring semesters students train in a dance class and rehearse weekly for recitals.

Our goal is to empower, educate and inspire our students through song, dance, teamwork and more! We believe that all students should be able to express themselves through the performing arts and push past any barriers. It is beneficial to their independence and self-confidence.

NO Class Dates for Fall 2025:

Thanksgiving Week 11/24/25-11/30/25

Winter Break 12/14/25-1/4/26
