JuniorStage/CenterStage Spring Auditions: Shrek JR

NPAC’s JuniorStage/CenterStage spring auditions for SHREK JR will be held on Monday, January 6th (4:30-7:30PM), with callbacks on Tuesday, January 7th (5-7PM) at the Naples Performing Arts Center. SHREK JR auditions are for students ages 9 up to 8th grade only (unless you have been invited by the director).

It’s a “big bright beautiful world” as everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family. With abundant opportunities for imaginative sets and costumes, and a host of over-the-top roles for an expandable cast, there’s a part for everyone in this dazzling adventure story.

Rehearsal Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays (5-7PM) (Some weekend rehearsals); Rehearsals starting on Friday, January 17th

Grades/Ages: Ages 9 up to 8th grade only (unless you have been invited by the director) 

Performance Dates: Thursday, April 23rd and Friday, April 24th at 7PM; Saturday, April 25th at 2PM & 7PM

Performance Venue: Naples Performing Arts Center
