Straight From New York Audition Intensive

- June 9-11th | 9 am-5pm

Few things can be as nerve racking as auditioning for a theatre production. Join Broadway’s Janet Dacal (In The Heights, Wonderland) and STFNY’s Ryan Anthony as they offer specific insight and advice into creating the best auditions. Focusing on acting elements such as “Acting Through Song” and “Digging Deeper” into character development. In this workshop, actors are encouraged to develop confidence in their ability to perform in the audition room. By further understanding their voice and it’s connection to the songs they’re performing, actors will discover that bringing a little bit of “themselves” can unlock a whole world of possibilities. Other courses: Cold Reading, Pop Music Workshop, Musical Audition Cuts, Respecting Rehearsal.
The Broadway Artists Intensive on Tour

Broadway professionals will train the future generation of performing artists at The Broadway Artists Intensive. The Teaching Artists of TBAI will bring their New York expertise to Naples from the Broadway productions Billy Elliot, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Fosse, Matilda, On the Town, Chicago, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Thoroughly Modern Millie, South Pacific and many others! Students will be immersed in the three major areas of the performing arts: acting, voice and dance. Curriculum includes Acting, Vocal Technique, Vocal Repertoire, Ballet, Jazz, Theatre Dance, Tap, Audition Technique, and Improvisation. Students and parents of TBAI will be invited to sit down with these Broadway professionals for an intimate talk back and Q&A session.

High School Musical Tribute
JUNE 12-16 | 9 am-5 pm- Ages 6-12; $425 | $385 if you register by May 14!

NPAC’s camp will feature scenes and music from Disney Channel’s smash hit movie musical! High School Musical comes to life in this camp as we dive into stage presence, blocking, choreography, music and character development. Characters like Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities- something most students today can relate to. The show’s infectious, danceable songs are sure to engage performers and strengthen their ability to perform on stage!
Choreography Camp
- JUNE 26-30 | 9 am-12pm
- Ages 6-12; $225 | $200 if you register by May 14!
- Minimum 5 Enrollments
When participating in conventions, workshops, and, productions especially auditions; performers are expected to be able to learn, remember, and impressively execute choreography in a very short amount of time. It’s like “study-skills” for performers with a strong tap & jazz influence. This is an extremely valuable class to offer our students as they continue to participate in auditions & productions. The goal in teaching this class is to utilize tap & jazz techniques to exercise, enhance, and accelerate each student’s ability to learn, comprehend, and exceptionally perform choreography in a short period of time.

Beauty & The Beast KIDS
July 10-14 | July 17-21 | 9 am-5 pm- Performance: July 21 at 12 pm & 4 pm
- Ages 6-12; $425 Per Session | $385 if you register by May 14!

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. features some of the most popular songs ever written! The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. With many fun supporting roles allowing students to play objects inside the castle, this “tale as old as time” is filled with spectacular costume and set opportunities. Camp will provide wonderful creative opportunities in terms of acting, vocal performance and costuming! This camp is two sessions long; students must register for each session.
Triple Threat
- JULY 24-28 | 9 am – 12 pm

- Minimum 5 Enrollments
This is a week of intense training in vocals, drama, and dance. Triple Threat is ideal for musical theater lovers to grow and develop their skills. There will be an hour-long focus on each subject. Triple Threat will feature music from various musicals. This is an intensive workshop to assist students interested in musical theater to help develop and grow in these areas. A small performance will be given at the end of each session.
