We are pleased to announce that our JuniorStage production for Fall will be Disney’s Aladdin. This musical is filled with fun musical numbers combined with a story affirming that it is not who you appear to be, but who you are inside that matters. NPAC’s JuniorStage productions are comprised of cast members ages 5-11. This musical calls for several principal characters as well as a large supporting musical ensemble.

June 9-12, 9am-noon
Musical Theater Dance Camp – taught by Broadway choreographer and performer Christopher Dean
Ages: 11-18
This session is for the focused musical theater student. This summer workshop will include daily warm-ups, technique training and exercises to explore movement as communication on stage. New combinations from actual Broadway shows will be taught daily and culminate in an informal final showcase on the last day. Audition technique and tips will also be covered, which will lead to mock auditions on two of the camp days. This week of musical theater dance training will take you to the next level as a performer.
Minimum of 8 students needed
June 16-19, 9am-noon
Summer Jazz and Lyrical Session – Taught by Broadway Choreographer and Performer Christopher Dean
Ages: 11-18
This master session will emphasize technique focusing on lines, stretching, strength, jumps, turns and more. Each day will provide a new style of jazz and lyrical for exposure to various styles including music video jazz, traditional jazz, lyrical and contemporary. Students will learn choreography combinations daily in both styles to be shown at a showcase on the final day.

Music Around The World – Taught by Mrs. Sharon True
Ages: Elementary and Middle School
Come and learn about music from five different areas of the world. Composers, instruments, listening examples and dances from different countries will be presented in a fun and exciting way each day!
June 30-July 3, 9am–noon
Instrument Overload – Taught by Mrs. Sharon True
Ages: 5-9
Come and learn the basics of sound production of many instruments through science and experimentation. Then create your own musical instrument out of everyday recyclable items!
July 7-11, 9am-noon
Triple Threat Camp (First Week)
This is a week of intense, fun training in vocals, drama, improve and dance. This camp is ideal for musical theater lovers to grow and develop their skills. There will be an hour-long focus on each subject. This is an intensive workshop to assist students interested in musical theater to help develop and grow in these areas. Students will be visited by special guest instructors who are experts in these given areas. A small performance will be given at the end of the week.
