Adult Guitar for Beginners
Learn to play guitar in a fun, supportive group setting! This class is designed for adults who are new to guitar or want to refresh the fundamentals. Students will develop basic guitar technique, chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, and music-reading skills while exploring a variety of musical styles, including pop, folk, country, rock, and classic favorites. No previous musical experience is required. Participants should bring a six-string acoustic guitar (nylon or steel strings) to each class. Students will also have opportunities to suggest songs they’d like to learn as the class progresses.
No previous guitar experience is necessary. Students should bring their own acoustic guitar.
Class Dates: Tuesdays, November 24th-January 19th (no class December 22nd)
Time: 6:30-8:30pm
Ages: 16 and up
Tuition: $360
Minimum of 4 students required
