Maria Bruewer

Maria has a BA in Music from the University of Utah. She has been teaching since 1989 as a Private vocal Coach and also as a classroom teacher. At Rowland Hall-St. Marks school in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the Musical Theatre Vocal Coach, Prop Mistress and Costumer from 1991-1998.

In Utah and in Florida she has taught K-12 General Music, Music Theory, AP Music Theory, Choir, Handbells, Piano and Musical Theatre. She was Chairman of the Fine Arts Department and led the Humanities Cross Curriculum program, collaborating with the Social Studies and History Departments. Her first professional job was with the Utah Symphony Chorus. She was also a member of the Utah Opera Company Chorus in their productions of Aida, The Flying Dutchman, La Boheme, Dream Keepers, La Traviata, Romeo and Juliet, Don Giovanni and had the dramatic role of Manuelita in Carmen.
